How to Create a Galaxy in Procreate

Procreate is my favorite drawing app on the iPad. It has tons of fun brushes and features that make drawing a galaxy easy!

Tips for Creating a Galaxy

-Use a cohesive color palette for the best results. -Use both light and dark shades. -Don't overdo the star brush. -Place stars in lighter areas to look like they are glowing. -Use the nebula brush at a large setting

Start with a Black Background

Select the Nebula Brush

Select a Color and Start Drawing on a New Layer

Add More Colors, Keeping the Darker Colors to the Edges

Add Lighter Colors to the Center

Use the Glimmer Brush to Add Stars

Keep Going Until You're Happy with the Results
