How to Blend in Procreate

There are several ways to blend in Procreate.  Here are some of my favorites.

It's easier to blend analogous colors than complementary colors. 

Use a light touch. Use one layer (or use a clipping mask.)

Smudge Tool

Use the smudge tool at the top of the screen. Each brush has the ability to be smudged. Change those settings in the brush menu. 

Create Your Image with  at Least 2 Colors

Choose the Brush and Use it to Blend the Colors Together

Different Brushes Create Different Effects

Rough brushes create a painterly effect, while smooth brushes create a smoother blend.

Gaussian Blur

Select Gaussian blur and slide your finger across the screen to increase or decrease the effect.
